Toenail Reconstruction

Toenail reconstruction is a technique (Wilde Pedique) which has been developed especially for cosmetically correcting and restoring damaged toenails. It is a strong gel that is cured under UV light. It looks and acts just like a normal nails, which can be cut, filed and painted.

What can it be used for?

Wilde Pedique is a great option for you if you have damaged, deformed, fungal or split nails. It disguises the nail and strengthens it while you treat the problem beneath.

How is Wilde Pedique applied?

This is applied as an acrylic gel which we set under UV light. It is very comfortable and flexible, made especially for toenails, providing an instant cosmetically pleasing result.

How long will it last?

Generally we recommend that you change the temporary Wilde Pedique nail every 6-8 weeks, although some people prefer to keep them on longer. They are a temporary solution and are not a permanent replacement for your toenail.

Will it work for me?

If there is some nail left for it to be adhered to, even if it is only a small area across the base of the nail bed, Wilde Pedique can usually be applied.
